Full Job Description Nutrition Services Manager The Nutrition Manager is responsible for the supervision and management of the Nutrition Program that provides meals to older adults in their homes and congregate meal sites. This position works closely with local communities, the Elder Service kitchen, councils on aging, and state/federal regulatory organizations. The Nutrition Manager will ensure quality control in all nutrition and food-service related operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct supervisory responsibility over Meals on Wheels Drivers, Meal Site Directors, the Nutritionist, Nutrition Case Worker, Nutrition Support Professional and the Nutrition Volunteer Program. This position requires evaluation and development of employees and taking appropriate action with personnel in accordance with agency policies and procedures. •
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Human Services, Management or related field with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in client services, food service or supervision required. Demonstrated leadership skills a must. •
Core Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills. Commitment to working with the elderly; strong sensitivity to aging issues. Leadership ability; independent thinker; self-starter. Demonstrated team building skills and organizational ability. Knowledge of quality improvement programs and processes Ability to interact with diverse groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional and experience using databases. Ability to work under pressure, with multiple interruptions and meet deadlines •
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$64,119.00 – $65,000.00 per year
