What you'll be doing: Floating wherever you're needed: front counter, deli, smoothie station, wherever the shift takes you Reading the room and stepping in before anyone has to ask Managing the floor and keeping things moving during busy stretches Handling customers with warmth, our regulars are the whole point Helping hold the place down so the owner can focus on growing the business Duties Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations, including supervising servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure efficient service delivery Support staff training and development to promote a positive team environment and uphold service standards Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality in line with safety regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction management Monitor inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies while minimizing waste Manage shift schedules, coordinate team coverage, and handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation procedures across all FOH activities Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality management setting Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Demonstrated ability in managing inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures Experience in team leadership, staff training, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams Knowledge of restaurant management practices such as shift management, profit & loss analysis, budgeting, and food production oversight Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a positive work environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their managerial skills in a vibrant restaurant setting.
