Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service from kitchen to front-of-house. Manage food preparation and ensure all culinary standards are met, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items. Supervise inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling accuracy. Monitor food safety compliance by implementing rigorous food handling procedures and maintaining health standards. Conduct shift management duties—assigning tasks, overseeing customer service quality, and resolving operational issues promptly. Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings. Facilitate staff training programs focused on food safety, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with all hospitality regulations and company policies while fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Skills Proven experience managing casual dining or fast food restaurants with hands-on leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management best practices. Strong familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting. Excellent supervisory skills with experience in team management, staff training, interviewing, and development. Deep understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, budgeting, and financial analysis. Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams within diverse culinary environments such as fine dining or catering settings. Effective communication skills essential for managerial oversight, staff coordination, and customer interactions. Experience supervising shift operations while maintaining high standards of customer service excellence.
