Assistant Manager
Assists general manager in overseeing the operation and administration of an expanding group of four restaurants in Worcester County, Maryland. Receives, reviews and reconciles vendor invoices and authorizes payment. Schedules reservations and arranges parties and special services for patrons. Conducts new employee orientation. Keeps records of hires, terminations and promotions. Reviews personnel records to determine names, addresses and social security numbers, rates of pay and occupations of new hires. Compiles payroll data, processes time records and posts wages. Records changes to rates of pay on computer. Gathers information and signatures required for government forms (e.g., W-4, I-9, etc.). Prepares monthly payroll tax reports. Creates and sales reports, invoices and other administrated documents in the cloud. Obtains, monitors and renews all licenses and required permits. Uses QuickBooks for accounting and invoice tracking, and Toast for payroll and employment taxes.
