Job Description
The Sea Dog Brewing Co. is happy to announce we seek a qualified Restaurant Service Manager for immediate hire at our brewpub in Camden. Additional general information about the Sea Dog can be found at www.seadogbrewing.com
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Utilize Toast POS system or similar software to manage orders, payments, and inventory.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Night and weekend availability is required as much of the schedule will be on evening shifts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bartending experience is a plus.
