General Manager - Restaurant

Job Summary Bev's Bagels was founded in 2023 and opened our first brick-and-mortar location in 2025. We're passionate about our organic and sourdough bagels, high quality scratch made sandwiches, and warm hospitality. Our Birmingham location will be an important addition to the Bev's brand as we look to expand our offerings throughout Southeast Michigan. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for the food industry and commitment to hospitality will drive the success of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in food service management, team supervision, and restaurant operations, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to shape a vibrant dining environment while fostering a positive team culture. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to quality standards. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to cultivate a motivated and skilled team. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and quality. Control inventory levels through accurate tracking, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Implement and monitor food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and staff training to promote professional growth. Manage shift operations, including customer service excellence, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with executive-level teams on strategic initiatives, operational goals, and business growth strategies. Foster a positive team environment through effective managerial communication, leadership, and supervision. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in restaurant management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, staff training, interviewing candidates, and leading hospitality teams effectively. Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, food safety management within the food industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage staff performance and maintain excellent customer service standards. Knowledge of food handling regulations, sanitation procedures, and culinary best practices is essential. Experience with opening a new restaurant location preferred. Ability to lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Pay:
