Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards. Manage staffing schedules, conduct interviews, and lead staff training to cultivate a high-performing team. Implement and monitor food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures. Control inventory levels, manage food production, and oversee ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize profitability. Utilize POS systems such as Clover for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Lead shift management by supervising kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring efficient service during peak hours. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control initiatives. Requirements Proven experience managing high-volume restaurants with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams, managing staff training, and conducting interviews. Familiarity with POS systems including Clover; adept at cash handling and basic math calculations. Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on customer service excellence and team leadership. Knowledge of inventory control, food production processes, catering operations, and banquet services is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for managerial coordination, staff training, and customer engagement. Ability to analyze financial data such as profit & loss reports to inform strategic decisions.
