Job Overview We are looking for an energetic, accomplished, and people-focused General Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar restaurant operation and help drive its continued growth and success. This is more than a day-to-day operations position. Our General Managers are the leaders of their restaurants—responsible for building a great team, delivering exceptional hospitality, protecting our standards, and achieving the financial and operational goals established for the business. The ideal candidate combines a genuine passion for people and hospitality with strong business acumen, operational discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will lead from the front, develop future leaders, create accountability, and ensure that our guests consistently experience the quality, service, and hospitality that define our brand. You will work closely with our corporate leadership team and other General Managers to continually improve the business, share best practices, solve problems, and contribute to the success of the entire organization. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture Lead, inspire, coach, and develop the restaurant leadership team and hourly team members. Build a high-performance culture based on accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and respect. Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain talented team members and future leaders. Conduct meaningful performance conversations, reviews, and coaching that help team members understand expectations and reach their potential. Develop managers who can successfully lead the business independently. Model the company's values and standards every day and hold yourself and others accountable for executing at or above those standards. Restaurant Operations Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent execution across every shift. Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, hospitality, service, cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience. Ensure the restaurant is properly staffed, scheduled, prepared, and positioned for every service period. Work closely with Back of House leadership to ensure consistent food preparation, presentation, quality, portion control, and food safety. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, productivity, and profitability. Maintain an environment that is organized, energetic, professional, and welcoming to both guests and team members. Financial & Business Management Take ownership of the restaurant's financial performance and achievement of predetermined budgets and goals. Regularly review and understand sales, labor, cost of goods, operating expenses, and profitability. Analyze P&L results and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and take corrective action. Manage labor effectively through thoughtful scheduling, productivity, and accountability. Oversee inventory, purchasing, receiving, storage, portion control, waste management, and cost controls. Understand menu pricing, contribution margins, and the relationship between pricing, sales, costs, and profitability. Use financial and operational data to make informed decisions rather than relying solely on instinct. Guest Experience & Business Development Create an environment where guests consistently feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Personally engage with guests and proactively address concerns or opportunities to improve their experience. Build relationships with regular guests, community partners, businesses, and organizations. Identify opportunities to increase traffic, sales, catering, events, and other revenue-producing activities. Help position the restaurant as an important and positive part of the local community. Systems & Technology Effectively utilize company systems and technology to manage and improve the business, including Toast, MarginEdge, TimeForge, QuickBooks , and other operational and reporting platforms. Use strategic planning and technology to monitor performance, improve accountability, and support better decision-making. Ensure accurate completion of required reporting, payroll, scheduling, accounts payable, inventory, and other administrative responsibilities. Collaboration & Company Leadership Collaborate closely with corporate leadership (operations, human resources, marketing, finance, sales) and other General Managers to strengthen the brand and improve overall company performance. Share ideas, best practices, challenges, and solutions across the organization. Participate actively in company meetings, initiatives, training, and strategic projects. Support the development and implementation of company-wide standards, systems, and initiatives. Understand that the success of the restaurant contributes to the success of the entire organization. What We're Looking For Proven success managing a full-service restaurant , preferably with significant sales volume. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a management team and build a strong restaurant culture. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, hospitality, food quality, safety, labor management, inventory, and cost control. Demonstrated experience managing budgets and understanding P&L statements and key restaurant performance indicators. Strong recruiting, interviewing, training, coaching, and performance-management skills. Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and follow through with consistent execution. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with modern restaurant technology and POS systems; Toast experience preferred . Understanding of menu pricing, contribution margins, and restaurant financial fundamentals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high level of personal accountability, energy, and professionalism. A genuine passion for hospitality and developing people. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
