Job Description

Job Overview Timberland is seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with energy, expertise, and a passion for excellence! In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food production, exceptional service, and strict adherence to food safety standards. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs. Lead and motivate kitchen staff through effective team management, shift scheduling, and training programs. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards. Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary requirements and customer preferences. Coordinate catering events, banquet functions, and fine dining experiences with precision and professionalism. Monitor food production processes to uphold high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation at all times. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment with banquet or catering experience preferred. Strong background in food industry operations including food service management, kitchen management, and culinary experience. Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams as a chef while fostering a positive work environment. Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and fine dining service is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department protocols and catering logistics.
