Job Description
Arbor Brewing Company has been a pioneer in the craft beer industry since 1995. Our Production Brewery in Ypsilanti along with our taproom has been serving award winning beer since 2006. If you have a passion for craft beer, community, hospitality, and enjoy leading a team in a fun environment, we want to speak to you. This position will support all Brewpub operations including:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the taproom team along with food and beverage.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and control costs by monitoring food and beverage supplies.
- Train and mentor staff on proper food handling, culinary techniques, and customer service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menu items and specials.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to track sales, analyze data, and make informed business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, culinary techniques, and food production processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
Pay:
$55,000.00- $60,000.
