Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and front-of-house service to ensure seamless guest experiences. Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations. Utilize POS systems such as TOAST for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking to maintain accurate financial records. Supervise shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels, smooth transitions between shifts, and efficient service delivery. Conduct regular staff interviews and performance evaluations to build a skilled and motivated team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards. Implement food safety protocols and oversee food handling practices to uphold sanitation standards across the restaurant. Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions when applicable, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Foster a culture of hospitality excellence by promoting teamwork, leadership development, a strong community involvement and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with a strong background in food industry operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and performance coaching. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management best practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and financial reconciliation is essential. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management (including HACCP standards), and food production processes. Prior experience managing hospitality teams in fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across shifts while maintaining high customer service standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, pricing, and profit analysis. Experience in managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost control measures.
