Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will serve as the secondary leader on property, ensuring guest satisfaction, team efficiency, and operational excellence across all departments.

Key Responsibilities Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments adhere to brand standards and safety protocols.

Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, hire, train, and mentor department heads and line-level staff. Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and team engagement.

Guest Experience:

Monitor guest feedback (praise and complaints), resolve escalation issues directly, and implement strategies to maintain high satisfaction scores.

Financial & Revenue Support:

Assist the GM with annual budgeting, labor cost controls, vendor management, and revenue management strategies to meet monthly financial targets.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and compliance with local regulations and brand standards.

Acting General Manager:

Step into the General Manager role in their absence, serving as the primary point of contact for staff, guests, and corporate leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

3+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience (e.g., Front Desk Manager, Housekeeping Manager, or Department Head).

Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS), revenue tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Core Competencies:

Strong leadership, budget management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Flexibility:

Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as operational needs dictate.
