Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth shift execution, and efficient team coordination. Your leadership will help create a welcoming atmosphere that delights guests and maintains the high standards of our establishment. Responsibilities Assist the FOH Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including service flow, guest experience, and staff performance Supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service standards are met Manage shift schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours while controlling labor costs Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Operate POS (TOAST) for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in compliance with health regulations Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining environment Assist with staff training programs focused on food handling, hospitality skills, and operational procedures Contribute to food preparation oversight when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods Participate in managing food production processes including catering or banquet services when applicable Support managerial tasks such as Daily Cleaning Lists, employee performance evaluations, and maintain labor goals. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling expertise is essential Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and health regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage hospitality teams effectively Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training & development, and team management Experience in managing restaurant operations including shift management, inventory control, and food production processes Ability to handle basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen management is a plus but not mandatory A passion for delivering outstanding customer service within a lively dining atmosphere Join us to lead a passionate team committed to creating memorable dining experiences!
