Tupelo Burger Company is a fast-casual restaurant dedicated to serving high-quality burgers and other delicious comfort foods. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Shift Manager/Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards while also providing leadership and guidance to the team during your shifts.

Responsibilities:

Cooking and Food Preparation:

Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, fries, sandwiches, and other comfort foods in accordance with Oxford Burger Company's recipes and quality standards. Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented consistently and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.

Leadership and Team Management:

Provide guidance and direction to team members during shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Delegate responsibilities and assign tasks to team members as needed. Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Customer Service:

Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing assistance as needed. Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and resolved to their satisfaction.

Operational Support:

Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the kitchen, cleaning equipment, and restocking inventory. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-casual or fast-food restaurant environment. Strong cooking skills and a passion for food quality and presentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Leadership abilities, including the ability to delegate tasks, provide feedback, and motivate team members. Basic math skills and the ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
