Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dining Room Manager to lead our culinary and dining team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for holistic wellness and a commitment to upholding our values of health and well-being. This role will require managing aspects of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee front-of-house food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction. Oversee the back-of-house culinary team to maintain high standards of service quality. Ensure consistency in delivery of innovative, health-conscious menus in collaboration with the culinary team. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory, budgeting, and cost control. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork. Coordinate with other departments for event planning and execution. Maintain relationships with local suppliers for high-quality ingredients. Address guest feedback and ensure high guest satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a wellness or retreat setting, with specific experience where food is served buffet style for large groups of 200-400 guests. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and enhancing guest experiences. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. Knowledge of Ayurvedic, vegetarian, and holistic dietary principles is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
