Woodstock Inn Brewery is looking for a Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced server, bartender, supervisor, or restaurant professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership—or for an experienced manager looking for a hands-on role in a busy, family-owned operation. What You'll Do Lead the restaurant during assigned shifts. Be visible and active on the floor throughout service. Make sure guests receive friendly, attentive, and efficient service. Support servers, hosts, bartenders, and other team members during busy periods. Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and service standards. Monitor the flow and timing of service. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Ensure sidework and shift responsibilities are completed properly. Answer guest questions and resolve service concerns. Communicate with the kitchen and bar to keep service running smoothly. Help train and coach employees. Address problems as they arise and communicate larger issues to the management team. Help maintain a positive, professional, and accountable work environment. We're Looking For Someone Who Has restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience. Is comfortable taking charge when needed. Leads by example and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Has strong communication and people skills. Is willing to hold staff accountable when needed. Can stay calm and organized during busy service. Notices the details and takes pride in the operation. Is dependable and willing to hold themselves and others accountable. Enjoys working with people and providing great guest service. Previous management experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. We're open to someone with strong restaurant experience who is ready to grow into a leadership role.
