Job Description

Hotel, Restaurant is seeking an energetic, service-focused Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of our restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating exceptional guest experiences. This position is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, maintaining service standards, driving revenue performance, managing labor and expenses, and ensuring seamless collaboration with hotel department. Operations Management Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant and bar. Ensure exceptional guest service and adherence to brand and hotel standards. Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service periods. Monitor cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Create employee schedules based on business demands and labor goals. Foster a positive and engaging work environment focused on teamwork and accountability. Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing training initiatives. Financial Management Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and operational expenses. Assist with budget preparation and execution. Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability. Ensure accurate cash handling, inventory controls, and POS procedures. Guest Experience Build meaningful relationships with hotel guests and local patrons. Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and service excellence. Collaborate with culinary leadership to support menu promotions and special events. Ensure consistency in food and beverage presentation and service delivery. Hotel Collaboration Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Catering, and Banquets teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Support group business, special events, and hotel-wide initiatives. Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to operational planning. Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing labor costs, scheduling, and financial performance. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment. Knowledge of hotel property management and point-of-sale systems. ServSafe Manager Certification and TIPS Certification. Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
