William Fine Sandwich Shop & Cold Creamery is hiring for a Management Position at our small, locally owned artisanal & small batch hand crafted shop. We're looking for a friendly, dependable leader who's passionate about great food, great service, and supporting a strong team environment. Position Overview This role oversees daily operations, staff leadership, customer experience, and the quality of our sandwiches, ice cream, and prepared foods. The manager also leads our catering, charcuterie, and picnic programs, ensuring smooth coordination, excellent presentation, and reliable service. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and support team members Oversee sandwich prep, ice cream batching, and food quality Manage catering orders, charcuterie boards, and picnic packages Coordinate delivery schedules and customer communication Handle scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage Oversee register operations, cash handling, and deposits Maintain inventory and vendor relationships Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness Support marketing, seasonal menus, and community engagement Address customer concerns professionally Maintain a positive, team-focused workplace culture Qualifications Leadership and communication skills Experience in food service or retail management is preferred, but we can train. Organized, dependable, and solutions-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with catering or events is a plus Willingness to learn and support a small business Schedule & Environment Flexible scheduling, including weekends Fast-paced, hands-on, supportive team Occasional off-site catering or picnic setup This is a role to grow into, you could literally be running the entire shop and we welcome your ideas, plus you will have the oversight of Chef Andrew Gorski to teach you along the way, but mostly it will eventually be you.
