Responsibilities would include working with hourly employees to properly train them in their position .
Other responsibilities would include:
working any and all positions in the restaurant as needed, scheduling of hourly employees, ordering food products, cash control, record keeping, complaint handling and generally optimizing profits and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their dining experience.
Essential Functions:
  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make decision on operations
  • Prepare schedules appropriate for the sales volume
  • Order food products and other supplies
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Provide proper training for al employees
  • Ensure customer service in all areas, respond to complaints and take all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guest into return guests
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • Manage shifts which include: working any hourly shift as necessary including cooking, prep and serving
  • Flexibility to work all shifts is required and this includes working weekends and holidays.
Ability to work 48 hours per week.
Job Skills:
Constantly on feet. Good mobility, quick paced work. Good agility needed for lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Using knives, spatulas, slicer, food processors, grills, broilers, and fryers .Planning daily prep. Stocking and cleaning food storage areas. Walking into refrigerated and freezer areas. Working with steam, hot and cold food and ice. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods. Good reading, hearing and visual skills. Reading recipes. Good finger, wrist and hand mobility. Memory and organizational skills.
Use of cleaning supplies:
all purpose soaps, glass cleaners, ammonia and bleach.
Hospitality Skills:
Friendly personality, good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
