As a kitchen manager, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Looking for 16-20 hours per week

Duties:

• Prepare and cook food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management, scheduling employees and ordering supplies as necessary

Skills:

• Previous experience working in catering, restaurants, or dietary departments is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Proficient in using various kitchen equipment, including knives and other tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
