  • New Store Opening Roosters Wings
  • Maumee, OH Fallen Timbers Roosters Wings is opening a brand-new location in Maumee, OH this fall, and we're looking for a General Manager who's ready to build something from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a team, a culture, and a business from day one — not just run a store, but launch one.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager will lead all aspects of the Maumee location from pre-opening through grand opening and beyond, targeting a Nov/Dec 2026 launch. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments and who can build a team that lives out the Roosters brand: a Fun, Casual Joint where guests come for great wings and leave as regulars.
PRE-OPENING RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, hire, and build a full team of servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and shift leads from scratch Partner with ownership and corporate support on staffing plans, scheduling systems, and opening logistics Oversee setup of BOH/FOH operations, vendor deliveries, and inventory systems ahead of launch Ensure all licensing, permits, and health department requirements are secured and in place Work hand-in-hand with Roosters' Corporate Training Team, who will lead the new team through pre-opening training week and the first week of business Drive local hype and community engagement leading up to grand opening Problem-solve constantly — new store openings rarely go exactly to plan, and this role requires someone who stays calm and decisive under pressure
ONGOING LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and develop a team that embodies Roosters' culture — fun, casual, high-energy, and guest-obsessed Own the guest experience, ensuring every visit reflects what makes Roosters different Manage full P&L responsibility: labor, cost of goods, cash handling, and store profitability Build and maintain a strong bench of shift leaders and future management talent Set the tone for a workplace culture that's fun for the team, not just the guests Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and cleanliness Handle HR responsibilities including scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution Maintain compliance with labor law, alcohol service regulations, and safety standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Prior restaurant management experience required; new store opening experience strongly preferred A leader who can build culture, not just enforce policy High tolerance for ambiguity and long hours during the opening ramp-up period Strong recruiting instincts — this store's first team will set the tone for years to come Financial acumen with P&L ownership experience Someone who genuinely likes people, thrives on energy, and doesn't take themselves too seriously Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during pre-opening and launch
WHAT WE OFFER
