Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized House Manager/Family Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy household. This role involves managing household chores, assisting with meal preparation, organizing various spaces, and providing general support to ensure a smooth and comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in household management, with a particular aptitude for meal planning and organization. Duties Perform laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. Maintain home organization through daily or weekly tidying and seasonal decluttering of closets, storage areas, and décor. Support meal preparation and light kitchen duties, with experience in planning and cooking meals suitable for toddlers. Conduct grocery shopping to ensure household supplies are well-stocked. Clean animal areas regularly and manage pet food reordering or refilling as needed. Assist with seasonal organization projects such as closet updates or storage reorganization. Help with scheduling appointments or managing household systems to improve efficiency. Support design decisions related to home organization or décor enhancements. Requirements Proven experience in household management, organization, or family assistance roles. Strong skills in meal planning and cooking, especially with toddler-friendly meals. Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks efficiently and independently. Good communication skills and reliability to assist with scheduling or household coordination. Ability to work approximately 15 hours per week during weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to the household's needs and help implement systems for better home management.
