General Manager Description:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative operations, including office and project coordination, bookkeeping, rentals and sales, HR, and payroll, to ensureanizational effectiveness and efficiency. It is a 30+ hour/week, Hourly, non-exempt in-house position that reports to Wooden Kiwi's Partners and manages the day to day business operations of thepany. T is some flexibility both in hours worked and ability to work remotely. The General Manager works with Office Manager to manage daily office operations, systems and procedures. They maintain Human Resources and personnel files and coordinates Wooden Kiwi's varied projects, including dance floors (both sales and rentals),scenery (both theatrical and special events). They are responsible for Bookkeeping including Payroll (and requisite filings), AP, AR, administering insurance policies and managing tax reporting. They will work closely with the business's two partners. This is an hourly, non-exempt in-house position that reports to Wooden Kiwi's Partners and manages the day to day business operations of thepany. A hybrid work schedule is possible. Regular hours can vary from 30 to 40 hours per week, subject to mutual agreement between General Manager and Wooden Kiwi. Qualifications:
  • Skilled in the use of Macintoshputers, including MAC OS, Word, Excel.
  • Solid Bookkeeping skills, particularly on the QuickBooks platform
  • Familiarity with insurance and taxationpliance processes.
  • Strong general proficiency withputers, including Internet searches, tracking and saving documents, using internet accounts and passwords.
  • Excellentanizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbalmunications skills.
