Duties Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant's standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance. Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Oversee shift management, ensuring all stations are adequately staffed and operational during service hours. Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring exceptional service and food quality. Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining, banquet service, or catering is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and training. Proficient in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation. Knowledge of inventory management practices and food safety regulations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and management.
