Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the seamless operation of our food service establishment. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Implement food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary considerations and seasonal ingredients Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional presentation Monitor food service management processes to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction Enforce cost control measures to maintain profitability without compromising quality Lead shift management by scheduling staff effectively and resolving operational issues promptly Experience Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on fine dining or hospitality settings Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, food handling, and cooking techniques Demonstrated expertise in banquet experience, catering services, and large-scale event coordination Solid background in restaurant management including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and compliance with health regulations Experience managing teams as a chef or kitchen leader within the food industry or hospitality sector Knowledge of dietary department operations and catering experience preferred Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and ensure high standards of service Join us as a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead with passion, innovate with flavors, and create an inspiring culinary environment where excellence is the standard!
