Cook/Kitchen Manager - Brookings, SD StoneyBrook Suites Assisted Living in Brookings is hiring a Cook & Kitchen Manager. Join our team at StoneyBrook Suites, where you can utilize your cooking skills to provide our residents with delicious home-cooked meals.
Job Summary:
Lead the daily operations of the kitchen by preparing quality meals, managing food service, and supporting dietary staff—ensuring residents enjoy a positive dining experience in a clean, well-run environment. What You'll Do
  • Prepare, cook, and bake meals for residents
  • Oversee plating and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Plan menus following dietician guidelines and manage food ordering and inventory
  • Train and supervise dietary staff in food preparation and kitchen procedures
  • Provide support for dietary-related questions and resident needs What We're Looking For
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Creativity and passion for food
  • Ability to lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
