Description Borderland Co-op is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Whitewood Dairy Queen. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in recruitment, training and development and performance management.
What youll do:
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Cost products and services
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Provide customer service Why it

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in
Customer Service and:
Possess 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant environment, including supervisory or management experience. High level of integrity and accountability. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary. Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including manual labour. Strong leadership skills that align with DQs values.
