You will be a crucial part of our fun, casual dining restaurant, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining top-notch food quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Lead Kitchen Operations:
Oversee daily kitchen activities, from food prep and cooking to plating and cleanliness. Ensure every dish meets our high-quality standards and is delivered quickly and consistently.
Team Leadership:
Inspire and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and prep staff. Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment, and provide continuous training and development to help your team grow.
Maintain Food Quality & Safety:
Uphold rigorous standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation. Enforce strict adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Manage Inventory & Costs:
Control food inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement effective portion control practices. Partner with management to optimize budgets and kitchen efficiency.
Ensure Compliance:
Guarantee full compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a full-service, casual dining restaurant.
Skills:
Strong culinary skills, excellent leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
Attributes:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and are proficient in inventory management and cost control.
Availability:
Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
