Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily functioning, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm and management expertise will drive the restaurant's success, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control, food management, and ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize profitability. Supervise kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and management personnel; provide ongoing training on food safety, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service excellence. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations across all areas of the restaurant. Manage shift scheduling, cash handling procedures, and POS transactions while ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours. Conduct hiring interviews, staff training sessions, performance evaluations, and team development initiatives to build a motivated hospitality team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies for revenue enhancement. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with culinary teams on food production, catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed. Promote a positive work environment through effective communication, leadership in managing hospitality teams, and fostering teamwork. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety management, and kitchen operations. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively through training & development programs; previous assistant manager or managerial communication experience is highly valued. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management, interviewing talent, staff training, and fostering a culture of hospitality excellence. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
