Primary Responsibilities:

Knowledge of all production departments and the ability to run machines if needed Coordinate with Production Supervisor or Operations Manager on goals and shift expectations, and assign tasks to achieve these goals Utilize knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to achieve and improve production metrics Ability to train new team members and continuously train in some areas Able to promote and drive continuous process improvements Ensure that processes are followed properly and in a timely manner Responsible for ensuring all MES's are understood and followed Understand ISO requirements and be able to relate standards to operators Have good written and oral communication skills, and be able to communicate with all in-house departments to ensure production flow All other related duties as directed by Operations Manager or Production Supervisor Meet all safety requirements
