Job Description

Assistant Restaurant Manager (PM) - Coyote Ridge Golf Club$18-$20/hr + Tips on Bar Shifts Coyote Ridge Golf Club is seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager heading into tournament season and we're looking for a hands-on Manager to help lead our dinner and event service. This role will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and the General Manager, and will be a key leader on the floor during our busiest season. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Yet this is not a clipboard manager role. We need someone who is constantly scanning the room, anticipating needs, and jumping in to support the team.
The Role:
We are looking for someone who is open to open-to-close availability (11am - 9:30pm). The majority of shifts will be PM / closing shifts, 2:00pm - 9:30pm. This position will start at 2-3 shifts per week with the opportunity to grow to full-time for the right person. Additional hours are available through bartending, especially during tournament season.
Lead Service:
Own the floor for dinner, twilight rush, and evening tournament receptions and private events. On a typical dinner you'll lead 1-2 staff, on tournaments 3-8 staff.
Own Event Execution:
Must be able to read and execute a BEO (Banquet Event Order) — setup, timing, service flow, and breakdown. Lead by
Example:
Train, coach, and hold standards. You're the type to bus tables, run food, and expo without being asked. Friendly and approachable, but confident enough to be firm when needed.
Bar Support:
Bartending shifts are available and increase during tournament season, including morning on-course bar needs during events. Ideal if you can step behind the bar and keep speed and accuracy. Close it
Down Right:
PM close procedures, POS / cash handling, end-of-night reports, and TABC / health compliance. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels
What We're Looking For:
2+ years restaurant management, lead server, or lead bartender experience Able to read and execute a BEO — golf course / country club / banquet experience is a big plus Strong bar knowledge — beer, wine, cocktails Proactive, high-awareness work ethic — you see what needs to be done before anyone asks TABC & Food Handler Certified (or able to obtain quickly) Open availability preferred, including weekends and holidays — especially during tournament season

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 32.0 per week
