Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager at a leading casual dining restaurant! Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service delivery in a quick service and fast food environment Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to foster a high-performing team Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Supervise food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts Support management in budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and maintaining overall restaurant profitability Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Assist in hiring processes including interviewing candidates to build a strong team aligned with company values Ensure kitchen management practices are followed for quality food production and culinary excellence Requirements Proven experience in food service management or assistant manager roles within quick service or casual dining restaurants Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling Demonstrated supervising experience with staff training & development skills Knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and food handling procedures Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and customer service excellence Ability to manage shift schedules effectively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel/banquet settings is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates confidently Passion for the food industry with culinary experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus Embark on an exciting journey where your leadership fuels memorable dining experiences!
