Locations:
Edinburg and San Juan, TX (must be flexible to work at multiple locations)
Pay:
$44,000 per year (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Flexible shifts between 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM, including weekends and holidays ( 1 day off during the week ; extended hours during peak seasons) Position Summary Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Restaurant Assistant Managers / Shift Managers to support daily operations across multiple locations. This role is responsible for supervising staff, managing schedules, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient front and back of house operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage both people and processes.
Job Duties:
Supervise front of house and back of house staff to ensure smooth daily operations Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs Coordinate communication between kitchen and service teams Monitor food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales, costs, and performance metrics Assist with onboarding and training new employees Manage vendor relationships, orders, and inventory levels Resolve customer and employee concerns professionally and efficiently Support operations across multiple restaurant locations as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar leadership role Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills Experience with scheduling, inventory, and restaurant operations Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Basic math and reporting skills Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma required; hospitality certification is a plus How to
