Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant family dining establishment. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a strong background in food service management, hospitality, and team development. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a positive work environment. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning Lead and motivate a diverse team of culinary and hospitality professionals through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations and minimize waste Supervise shift management activities, including scheduling, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS, and customer service excellence Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, culinary techniques, customer engagement, and safety procedures Monitor financial performance by managing budgeting processes, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities Foster a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and high-quality food service experiences for guests Requirements Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast; familiarity with cash handling procedures Demonstrated ability to lead teams through effective interviewing, training & development initiatives Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices; experience with food handling regulations Excellent communication skills coupled with leadership qualities to inspire staff and enhance customer satisfaction Experience in budgeting, inventory control, catering or banquet services is preferred Hospitality management background with fine dining or hotel experience is advantageous Join us as we create memorable dining experiences by leading with passion and professionalism. $62,008.25 - $74,676.60 per year
