A Great Starbucks General Manager is someone who: Leads and inspires a team to deliver outstanding guest service while creating a positive, engaging work environment. Holds managers and associates accountable for operational excellence, ensuring the restaurant is clean, staffed, stocked, and ready for business every day. Recruits, hires, trains, coaches, and develops team members while promoting a culture of recognition, inclusion, and employee engagement. Builds effective schedules, deploys labor strategically, and manages staffing needs to support business goals and profitability. Takes ownership of restaurant financial performance, including P&L management, cost controls, inventory management, and sales growth initiatives.
