Job Summary Just One More Bar and Grill is seeking an experienced, organized, and guest-focused Manager to oversee daily restaurant and bar operations. The ideal candidate will lead and support team members, maintain high standards of food and beverage service, assist with scheduling and inventory, address guest needs, and help ensure smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced bar and grill environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, service activities, and team performance. Lead, supervise, train, and support front-of-house, bar, and kitchen team members. Coordinate staff assignments, shift coverage, and service responsibilities. Maintain high standards of guest service, food quality, beverage service, cleanliness, and hospitality. Welcome guests and help create a friendly and enjoyable dining experience. Monitor service flow, order accuracy, table availability, and overall restaurant efficiency. Address guest questions, requests, and concerns in a professional manner. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of team members. Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and attendance management. Monitor food, beverage, bar supplies, and equipment inventory. Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and storing restaurant and bar supplies. Help monitor operating costs, product usage, waste, and portion standards. Support POS, cash-handling, register, and daily closing procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible beverage-service procedures. Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, servers, hosts, and other restaurant team members. Inspect dining, bar, kitchen, storage, and service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization. Handle operational issues and provide leadership during busy service periods. Communicate staffing, inventory, maintenance, and operational needs to restaurant leadership. Perform additional management duties assigned by company leadership. Requirements Previous restaurant, bar, bar-and-grill, or hospitality management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Professional and guest-focused attitude. Ability to lead, motivate, and support restaurant and bar team members. Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation, and beverage service. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, inventory, and staff scheduling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and operational standards. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, and perform routine restaurant and bar duties for extended periods. Preferred Skills Experience managing a bar and grill, restaurant, pub, or similar hospitality operation. Experience training, coaching, and developing restaurant or bar employees. Strong guest-service and conflict-resolution skills. Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management. Familiarity with bar operations and beverage service. Strong scheduling and team-coordination skills. Ability to maintain service standards during high-volume periods.
