The Role:
Your Mandate As the General Manager, you are the "CEO" of your specific Sano location. You are fully responsible for the store's financial performance, local inventory control, and the recruitment and development of your team. Education Manager:
Deploys digestible product-knowledge guides to your team and hosts weekly customer "Meet & Greets" to drive your local store traffic.
Operations Execution Manager:
Conducts regular safety audits, assists with frontline training completion, and handles emergency logistical crises (like sudden supply transfers or emergency coverage) so you can focus on running your business.
Facilities Manager:
Direct escalation path for physical plant repairs and equipment maintenance, supported by a daily preventative walkthrough system. Key Responsibilities 1.
Financial & Inventory Ownership P&L Management:
Own your store's financial outcomes, driving top-line revenue while tightly controlling prime costs (labor and food cost variances).
Inventory & Forecasting:
Oversee the local ordering process, manage supplies, and forecast inventory needs to eliminate waste while preventing stockouts.
Smart Labor Scheduling:
Draft efficient staff schedules that meet the peak flow demands of a high-volume, fast-casual kitchen while respecting team member lifestyle balance. 2.
Team Leadership & Onboarding Staffing & Onboarding:
Recruit, hire, and successfully onboard top-tier local talent who align with Sano's health-conscious culture.
Culture & Coaching:
Lead, train, and counsel team members to create a highly collaborative, positive, and high-energy work environment.
Shift Lead Mentorship:
Coach your Shift Leads in daily operations, labor management assistance, and floor leadership. 3.
Customer Experience & Community Local Hospitality Metrics:
Monitor and elevate store-level guest satisfaction, reviews, and customer retention metrics.
Community Engagement:
Cultivate warm, authentic relationships with local guests to boost brand reputation and increase store loyalty. 4.
Food Safety & Facilities Accountability Standard Enforcement:
Ensure the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and security are maintained at all times.
Preventative Maintenance:
Oversee the daily execution of the Sano Daily Preventative Maintenance Checklist, troubleshooting basic issues and coordinating directly with our Facilities Manager for technical repairs. What You Bring to the
