Monday through Friday, hours to be completed within the 9:00am to 3:00pm window (flexible on exact timing)
Compensation:
$42 to $48 per hour based on experience

About Our Family We are an active, close-knit family of five living on Mercer Island, with a one-year-old golden doodle rounding out our crew. We're looking for a house manager who can help keep our home running smoothly. We already have some fantastic support systems in place, including weekly cleaners and a meal delivery service, and we are looking for a trusted partner to build on that foundation. You'd primarily be acting as a "stage manager" helping to reset the house each day so the kids are set up for success when they come home. Who You Are / What We're Looking For We are searching for a natural partner and professional who can step into our home, read the room, and seamlessly begin leveling up our day-to-day flow without needing a script. The ideal candidate brings an organized, systems-minded approach to life and takes genuine pride in creating smooth, sustainable order behind the scenes. They understand how to cultivate an even-keeled home environment, bringing a sense of calm predictability that allows everyone to thrive. For this role, success looks like managing the moving parts of household logistics with confidence and proactivity—whether that means tracking inventory, resetting our core entry zones, coordinating vendors, or keeping family schedules beautifully aligned. We value someone who communicates clearly, makes smart decisions within reasonable parameters, and remains unflappable when unexpected adjustments pop up. Beyond our primary home, we also own a secondary property about 40 minutes away. For a candidate who has the desire and capacity to take on additional property management hours, there is an opportunity to expand this role and help us oversee that estate as well.

Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization Create and maintain household organization systems Daily resets and prep home for cleaners Daily tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas) Seasonal swaps (clothing, holiday décor, bedding) Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs Event/holiday/guest prep Deep Cleaning & Special Projects Manage home deep cleans: fridge, pantry, oven Refresh garage and entry Organizational projects (toys, sports gear and craft materials) Inventory & Errands Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies Manage running household supply lists Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target) Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping Mail and package handling Breakdown boxes and take to recycling Meal Planning & Prep Friday meal prep for the weekend: 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and healthy snacks.
