Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to lead our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. ```
Responsibilities:
``- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the ownership/management team
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Oversee banquet and catering events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels ```
Experience:
``- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in menu planning and recipe development
