Job Description
Overview We're seeking an enthusiastic Events & Catering Manager to elevate our events and catering division through exceptional food, impeccable service, and seamless event operations. What You'll Do Oversee all event execution from setup through completion, including client communication. Detail events booked through Sales and create accurate BEOs, invoices, timelines, and staffing plans. Run event‑center operations including openings, closings, AV/PA needs, lighting, and overall readiness. Serve as the primary client contact for tastings, menu planning, walkthroughs, and day‑of coordination. Lead off‑site catering for weddings, corporate events, and other functions. Manage food service execution including buffets, plated dinners, and ServSafe‑compliant standards. Support tradeshows and promotional events alongside Sales and Marketing. Lead and develop staff through hiring, training, coaching, and performance support. Maintain inventory accuracy for equipment, décor, uniforms, and supplies. Work flexible hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Ensure flawless client experiences by ensuring smooth communication and exceptional customer satisfaction. What You'll Bring 3+ years experience in catering, restaurant, food service, or banquet operations. 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred Must be available to work evenings and weekends, including some late nights for setup and turnover. Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work on a deadline. Strong knowledge of food & beverage procedures, controls, and catering operations.
