Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Food Service Manager to manage our independent hot lunch program at Assumption BVM Catholic School in Pulaski. In this role, the candidate will create a monthly menu, order all needed foods, prepare all food, maintain food quality standards, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen and all equipment. Responsibilities Create a child friendly, healthy menu for 30-50 students on school days. Work with vendors to order food and supply needs. Prepare food following food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices across the kitchen and service areas. Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen. Help students with table prep and clean up. Work within the set budget. Prepare for state health department inspections. Requirements High school dipolma Servsafe Certification Virtus background check Experience with outlook email and on-line ordering. Enjoy working with children Strong communication skills Prior experience is preferred but not required.
