Appointment Type Part Time Description Job Goal:
Substitute Paraprofessional will work under direction and supervision of certified staff, provide assistance to all children. Paraprofessionals will work closely with students on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with effective learning experiences.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to: Assist students with completion of assignments and reinforce learning concepts Work with students individually or in small groups within the classroom Engage students in learning Provide supervision during field trips Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness Arrive at work promptly and attend regularly Follow directions and work well with others Work under the stress of deadlines Concentrate and perform tasks accurately React to change productively Perform other tasks as assigned

Building Principal Qualifications Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills The ability to maintain a positive learning environment Current First Aid/CPR certified or willing to obtain Demonstrated ability to: work collaboratively carry out emergency/crisis response procedures perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position maintain confidentiality communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons Commitment to the Pulaski Board of Education Educational Philosophy Demonstrated skills in positive human relations and cultural competence Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict management Candidate Requirements Additional Requirements Resume Custom Questions
