Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across all shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality. Manage staffing including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce. Oversee inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize food and supply costs through accurate ordering and stock management. Supervise food preparation, cooking procedures, and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business. Implement staff training programs focused on food safety management, hospitality best practices, team leadership, and operational procedures. Coordinate shift management activities including scheduling staff coverage to meet business demands efficiently. Maintain compliance with all local health regulations and food safety standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Skills Extensive experience in restaurant management with a strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant operations or casual dining environments. Proven ability to lead teams effectively through supervising experience, team management skills, and managerial communication. Knowledge of food preparation techniques including culinary experience in cooking or food production roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting purposes. Strong understanding of inventory control practices along with food safety management protocols. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Experience in managing hospitality teams within diverse settings such as banquet or catering environments is a plus. Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and operational calculations. Ability to train staff effectively while promoting professional development through training & development initiatives.
