This role supports the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager by maintaining food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and profitability while creating a positive, high-energy work environment. The Shift Supervisor leads by example, coaches in the moment, and ensures every guest receives the Popeyes experience they expect. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead and motivate the team during each shift. Coach team members on performance, procedures, and guest service. Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment. Recognize strong performance and address opportunities immediately. Assist with training and onboarding new team members. Guest Experience Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service. Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Maintain high hospitality standards throughout every shift. Operations Execute opening, shift change, and closing procedures. Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards are met. Monitor ticket times and production flow. Maintain restaurant cleanliness inside and outside the building. Complete shift checklists and operational routines. Food Safety & Compliance Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper product handling, cooking, holding, and storage. Maintain health department and company standards. Verify cash handling and security procedures are followed. Financial Responsibility Assist in controlling food and labor costs. Minimize waste through proper product rotation and portion control. Support inventory accuracy and product management. Ensure company assets are protected. Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to coach and motivate others. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods.
