NOTE:

This is a hands-on working manager position. Approximately 80% of your shift will be spent actively working alongside the team preparing food, taking orders, assisting customers, cleaning, stocking, and completing normal restaurant duties. Approximately 20% of the role involves management responsibilities such as scheduling/labor management, inventory and food ordering, cleanliness standards, employee coaching, and day-to-day operational oversight. At Sourdough, we are passionate about quality food and quality ingredients. We bake bread daily and serve made-to-order sandwiches, soups, & salads. Duties will include:

Manage daily activities of employees to improve sales & performance. Supervise employees in various duties such as Prep, Cashier, Sandwich Making, Bread Station and other operations. Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages, spoilages and the freshest product possible. Schedule and assign work for associates on daily basis. Assist Owners in Interviewing, and hiring when needed. Provide training to staff on company policies, procedures and sales guidelines. Respond to queries and complaints from both customers and employees. Ensure employees follow company policies and store rules. Coordinate with employees to operate the store to achieve sales and profit goals. Ensure that products are properly labeled with dates and descriptions. Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under stock problems. Interact politely with clients while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation. Operate all food preparation machines and equipment. Oversee and assist in Food orders and food delivery. Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe.

Candidates should expect to spend the majority of every shift working directly in restaurant operations alongside the team.
