Located on the beautiful Shoreline Golf Links, our venue offers stunning views, golf perks, and a unique combination of restaurant service and high-volume banquet events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, leadership, event operations, and working closely with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment. About the Role The Front of House Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring daily restaurant operations and banquet events run smoothly. You will oversee staff performance, maintain service standards, assist with event execution, and help create exceptional guest experiences. Our banquet business is active year-round, with especially busy seasons during the summer and holidays. Gratuity opportunities are excellent due to the volume of events we host. Responsibilities Supervise front-of-house staff and ensure team members remain productive and on task Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant and banquet facilities Ensure guests receive outstanding service Assist banquet captains and serve as their right-hand person during events Help coordinate and oversee banquet setup and breakdown Ensure event rooms are properly prepared and organized Support restaurant operations as needed Assist with banquet and restaurant closing duties Cover bartending shifts when necessary Monitor service flow and troubleshoot issues before they impact guests Communicate effectively with management, kitchen staff, banquet teams, and guests Lead by example and foster a positive team environment RequirementsRequired Restaurant and/or banquet experience is required Leadership or supervisory experience is required ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification Valid California Driver's License California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and banquet schedules Preferred Bartending experience is a plus, but not required We can train the right candidate on our bar program Must be comfortable preparing and serving simple cocktails, beer, and wine when coverage is needed Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Energetic and enthusiastic Friendly and guest-focused A strong communicator Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment A natural leader who can motivate a team Strategic and solutions-oriented Optimistic and positive under pressure Reliable, professional, and dependable Schedule This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.
