In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of food service professionals, manage kitchen and front-of-house activities, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster teamwork, and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards. Lead, motivate, and train staff members on food preparation, customer service, POS systems, and food safety protocols. Oversee food handling, cooking, and food production processes to maintain high quality and safety standards. Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile shift cash drawers. Monitor restaurant cleanliness, food safety compliance, and sanitation practices in line with health regulations. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated team. Assist with managing budgets, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures. Support kitchen management by supervising food preparation processes and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Participate in shift management activities such as scheduling staff coverage and coordinating operational tasks. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling expertise required. Previous supervisory or team management experience within hospitality or food industry settings. Knowledge of food safety management practices and health regulations; experience with food handling certifications preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage hospitality teams confidently. Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, staff training, and customer interactions. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory control and cash reconciliation. Experience in managing restaurant operations including shift management, kitchen supervision, and food production. Understanding of budgeting principles along with profit & loss analysis to support financial goals. Hospitality management background with fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining high standards of service quality.
