Life:
In the position of POS Shipping & Receiving Lead, you will be responsible for assigning orders and monitoring staff under the direction of the Shift Supervisor. Oversee the daily fulfillment of orders and ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively to meet operational goals
The Impact You'll Make:
Assign and coordinate daily shipping and receiving tasks among team members Lead and help oversee staff performance to ensure productivity and accuracy Maintain the timely fulfillment, packing, and shipment of orders Ensure all inventory is correctly received, labeled, and stored in designated areas Update and maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits Communicate issues, updates, and performance to the Shift Supervisor Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and warehouse best practices Monitor special projects when assigned
Who You Are:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Logistics or related field of study
Additional Experience Desired:
Between 3-5 years of experience in warehouse distribution
Additional Experience Desired:
Between 1-3 years of experience in customer service experience in a lead position
Computer Skills Desired:
Knowledge in Microsoft office. Intermediate user
SAP Preferred Certifications:
Forklift Certified Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Material Handling equipment (MHE) such as Electric Pallet jack, Reach truck and cherry picker experience preferred.
