This role is critical to ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized processing floor while day-shift leadership is off-site. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the night shift processing team, assigning tasks and monitoring workflow to meet nightly production goals Oversee proper handling, grading, cutting, and processing of fresh floral product to maintain quality standards Monitor cold chain and product handling procedures to minimize waste and preserve freshness Train, coach, and evaluate team members; address performance issues and foster a positive, productive shift culture Ensure compliance with food/product safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Track production numbers and communicate shift results, issues, and handoff notes to day-shift management Troubleshoot equipment or workflow issues and escalate as needed Enforce attendance, break schedules, and company policies during the shift Qualifications Proven experience in food production or food processing plant management with a strong understanding of manufacturing management principles. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP plans, CGMP guidelines, and food safety management practices within the food & beverage industry. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems used for managing production workflows. Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in production environments. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and quality standards in food processing operations. Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and ensure clear dissemination of safety procedures and operational expectations. Basic math skills for data analysis related to production metrics and quality control measures. Experience with sanitation practices, packaging processes, and regulatory/legal compliance standards specific to the food industry. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
