Shift Supervisors - Fast Casual Restaurant Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh - 3.5 Glendale, CO Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Guest relations Bachelor of Science Bachelor's degree Business Administration Food service management Full Job Description Overview The Shift Supervisor, also known as Hourly Manager, is a dynamic position within the restaurant, reporting directly to the General Manager. We have identified four Areas of Responsibility (AOR) that will each be overseen by an individual Shift Supervisor.
These areas are:
Training, Food, Catering/CSM, and Facilities. Each Shift Supervisor will be accountable for the daily execution of their Area of Responsibility. Shift Supervisors will also have the opportunity to grow in their level position and transition from one AOR to another over time as they achieve successful results.
Responsibilities May Include:
Leading daily huddles to delegate tasks to team members and track AOR metrics Participating in AOR metric review with Area Director Hiring, onboarding, and training crew under GM direction Executing Local Restaurant and Catering Marketing Tactics Maintaining fully-stocked inventory and ordering food and supplies Timekeeping and shift scheduling to ensure proper coverage while managing labor costs Helping team members resolve on-the-job challenges Tracking daily costs and revenues Balancing the cash register, and prepare bank deposits at the end of the shift Coordinating with suppliers as they deliver food product orders Ensuring guest satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints Opening or closing the restaurant, following all safety protocols Clearly communicating with fellow Shift Supervisors on the needs of the restaurant in a Skills Food Safety Certification (Servsafe or equivalent) Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or relevant role in a restaurant Working knowledge of restaurant operations and safety Availability to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends Basic knowledge of bookkeeping procedures A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism Excellent organizational skills Team management abilities, including conflict resolution and de-escalation BS in Restaurant Management, Business Administration or similar field would be bonus Comfortable interacting with guests, taking/giving instructions, and reading restaurant procedures and manuals in English.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Standing:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often lasting 4 to 8 hours, depending on length of shift.
Lifting:
Regularly lift and carry boxes, supplies, equipment, or food items weighing up to 25 to 50 pounds.
Mobility:
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and turning to operate kitchen equipment and access low or high storage.
Dexterity:
Use hands and fingers to operate cash registers, handle small objects, use sharp tools, and assemble food quickly.
Environment:
Exposure to high ambient temperatures near cooking equipment, cold and freezing temperatures in refrigerated areas, and odors from various cleaning chemicals.
Availability :

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
